Thijmen Pelgröm and Simon Scharinger induce an emotional experience of unfamiliarity by creating an interactive installation that uses feedback loops to generate infinite recursion. This recursion effect is used to seemingly distort time and space in a way that it confronts the audience with their own actions and movements. However small a movement might be, it endlessly repeats and forever influences an ever-changing visual installation.
Thijmen Pelgröm is an artist who is focused on bringing the virtual into the real through different methods. The experience is always on his mind, how he can make people immersed. Auditorial, visual, haptics senses all play a fundamental role.
THIS WORK WAS A COLLABORATION BETWEEN SIMON SCHARINGER & THIJMEN PELGRÖM
